Remote Live Mixing Consultation

Remote Live Mixing Consultation

We have been working in live media for over 20 years and were asked by Comtec Presentations to help setup and deliver an online presentation for BAE Systems unveiling their new submarine, HMS Anson.

Initially we worked with the Comtec team to test the best online meeting platform to deliver the show (Zoom, Teams, Webex), this needed to be fully integrated and work alongside the camera mixing software.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions Comtech had to limit the team onsite (Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria) which meant we would be setting up the show remotely; with only one technician on location to connect up visuals and audio. We then remotely logged into the main vision mixing computer and set-up the live production.

We had 4 PTZ cameras each programmed with particular camera shots for the production, one roaming steady camera that was wirelessly transmitted back to the mix, along with a set of cued videos and audio files the production was ready to go live. Using Zoom to deliver the live video feed to people around the world the show went out without a hitch.

Remote Live Mixing

Whilst our part was a small section of a much bigger production, being able to consult remotely and set-up a full live production is an amazing use of technology and allows us to support events around the world.

If you have a live event you would like to broadcast online, why not drop us a call on 0845 166 2901 or email us and we can discuss some options with you.
