And that’s another year done. 2024 has flown by so fast; it’s been a busy year. From consulting on a live stream for BAE’s launch ceremony to launching a unique social value app in Wakefield, we have worked on some fantastic projects with our incredible clients, both new and old. Here are just a few highlights from 2024.

Blue Plaque - We were asked to create this very unique, once-in-a-lifetime project to commemorate a long-serving nurse who was the sister of First World War hero Edith Cavell in Withernsea. We designed the Blue Plaque for Darrin Stevens, the current owner of the house in Withernsea of Florence Mary Scott Cavell. Here you can see the printed mould and custom plaque.

ReNew Filming - The team from ReNew needed to create some hard-hitting drama scenarios to use in their anger management training sessions. The chaps from VIP Creative joined us as the camera unit and DOP and helped create the necessary lighting setups. We directed the scenarios along with the client, and then all shots were edited, sound produced, and graded. “The scenarios are brilliant, awesome work. It’s great to see it all come together; the team is very happy with them.”

CC Wakefield Advert - The brief was to create an engaging video to show how a social value community app works. We spent the day filming with Wakefield Council, local business owners, and amazing volunteers to show the benefits of the Citizen Coin App. From scripts to storyboards, pre-production to post-production, this was a fantastic project to manage and produce.

Withernsea Website - Launch of a humbling project. We were asked to create an online “diary” of donations to the Withernsea Church clock from 1941, allowing living relatives to add their personal stories to the website. The website also includes a 360-degree interactive walkthrough and a short video of the new clock chiming at 11 o’clock to aid remembrance.

TikTok Live Stream - We were asked by one of our clients to produce a live stream to TikTok. While most streams are via a mobile phone, we set up our OBS (outside broadcast studio) in our studio, dressed the scene, and created a four-camera mix including VT overlays to make the first live stream very memorable.

As the festive weeks approach, we would like to thank our amazing clients for their constant challenges and for keeping us on the cutting edge of digital media. We will be taking some time off over the Christmas break (from 19th December 2024 to 6th January 2025), but we look forward to more exciting projects in 2025.
